What is the Climate Change Debate about? December 12, 2015, 196 countries came together to sign the Paris 2015 Global Agreement on climate control. The agreement is about what countries worldwide have to do to reduce global warming by 2020.
In order to provide IRSC students the opportunity to participate in the global climate change dialogue, the Model UN will sponsor a Global Climate Change Debate April 7, 2016. The debate is open to all IRSC students. The goal of the debate is to help students better understand the impact and implications of the Climate Control Treaty. Students will also develop research, leadership, negotiation and public speaking skills.
